Wholesale Floors Australia ("WFA", "we", "us") operates this online flooring store from Holroyd NSW 2142. This policy explains how we handle personal information you provide when you browse, create an account, save a project, request a callback or quote, place an order or contact us.

We collect information you give us directly, including your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and site details, and order details. When you pay, your card details are entered directly into our payment provider (Stripe) and are never stored on our servers.

Customer accounts. If you create an account we store your name, email address, optional phone number and a securely hashed version of your password (we never store or see your actual password). We link your orders to your account so you can view them and so we can apply your first-order account discount once.

Saved projects & favourites. If you save favourite floors or a project, we store the room names, sizes, waste allowance and chosen floors you enter. If you share a project, anyone with the link can view it, and people who sign in and join can edit it. You can stop sharing (which removes all collaborators) or delete a project at any time from your account.

Callback requests & enquiries. If you ask us to call you, we store your name, phone number, preferred time, your question and the page you were viewing, so the right person can call you back.

We also collect limited technical data automatically, such as your browser type, device and pages visited, to keep the site secure and improve it. When you type your address at checkout, the text is sent through our server to an OpenStreetMap-based lookup service to suggest matching addresses.

We use your information to process and deliver your order, authorise and capture payment, confirm stock and freight within our 48-hour window, send order updates, return your calls, respond to enquiries, and meet our legal and tax obligations.

Emails we send. Besides order emails (received, confirmed, dispatched, delivered, cancelled), we may send: reminders if you leave checkout before paying; a review request about 14 days after delivery; and up to two reminders (about 7 and 21 days after you last changed a saved project) if you haven't ordered since. Every project reminder has a one-tap link to stop them. We don't send marketing newsletters unless you ask us to.

Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We authorise your card at checkout and capture payment only after we confirm your order (within 48 hours), or release the authorisation if we cannot fulfil it. Stripe handles your card data under PCI-DSS standards; we only receive confirmation of the payment status.

We share your information only where needed to run the store: with our freight carriers and suppliers for delivery, with Stripe for payment, and with our email provider (Resend) to send you emails. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia, under their own privacy and security commitments. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required by law.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including hashed passwords and limits on repeated sign-in attempts. We retain order and tax records for as long as required by Australian law, then securely delete or de-identify them. Account, project and callback information is kept until you ask us to delete it.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@wholesalefloorsaustralia.com.au. If you have a privacy concern, contact us and we will respond promptly. You may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
